So I saw this in play form back when I was in school, and it remains one of the most terrifying things I’ve ever experienced, but I don’t remeber little girls, I do remeber a dog called Spider (it was invisible in the play.)

I know that nothing can be as scary as the stage show, which was so terrifying I refused to go in after the interval, and when I was forced to, sat under my coat with my fingers in my ears! So I will see this film! Because it cannot possibly as terrifying!

Just saw this play a few days ago, I honestly wasn’t sure how they could do it theatrically, like scare you when you’re so far from the stage. But that play sure knows how to get into your mind.

My friend didn’t appreciate the first half at all. He was scared by the second half though.

Don’t think I’m going to see the film, Same with War Horse. It annoys me when theatre plays that have brilliant techniques on stage get turned into movies, because then you get people being all ‘Oh I saw that, It wasn’t scary or sad!’ Yeh, cos you watched it at the cinema. ¬¬

Sorry, totally theatre bias here. If I here good stuff about it, I’ll watch it but it’s never the same when you’re watching a movie.

I think both have good and bad qualities about them, but in this circumstance (with War Horse and the Woman in Black) it’s theatre all the way =/

I want to see this at the theatre now.

I went on two field trips around the same time - one to see Paranormal Activity at the cinema and the other was seeing The Woman in Black at the theatre. Paranormal Activity was laughable and a bit lame, but The Woman in Black was brick-shittingly creepy.
